Job Duties:

  • Assist chef in leading kitchen team to provide the freshest, best food possible in accordance with the Nordstrom recipe standards
  • Motivate the kitchen team to strive for culinary excellence at maximum efficiency, comply with Company procedures and maximize profitability
  • Maintain and support the restaurant kitchen environment by monitoring kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist in implementing new kitchen strategies and action plans
  • Train and monitor the development of all levels of kitchen staff

Requirements:
2-5 years experience in food and beverage service. Enthusiastic about food and a positive motivational leader. Aspiration to advance your career into the chef position or beyond. Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Job Duties:

Requirements:
Requires 2+ years Server, Barback or Busser experience. Upscale restaurant experience and weekend work required.

  • Completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning and maintaining bar area.
  • Assisting with receiving of alcoholic beverage products.
  • Ensuring proper sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
  • Suggestively sell restaurant’s menu times, beverages and wines.

Requirements:
Positive and fun attitude and ability to communicate well with guests and co-workers. Must have a proven record of upselling. Solid liquor and cocktail knowledge. Proficient with Aloha or other POS systems.

Besides washing dishes, a restaurant dishwasher has to clear plates and ensure food scraps and paper debris end up in the correct receptacles. He\She will stack clean dishes and cooking vessels in an orderly fashion and correctly stores silverware and cooking utensils. His job description frequently includes other cleaning jobs like sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down counters and maintaining walk-in freezers and refrigerators. Dishwashers will also help other kitchen workers perform various tasks as needed.

Butcher will be responsible for turning large pieces of meat into restaurant-ready portions. The butcher will also need to have some experience or knowledge of dry aging meat.

Responsible for setting tables, clearing dishes, providing beverages and may serve food and assist in the kitchen or help clean the dining area.
